“Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart,
as working for the Lord, not for men.”
I also learned how to play the sport I love for God.
Be sure to check out over 30 high school and middle school FCA groups established in Central Oregon. Several hundred young people attend these groups every week hearing about the gospel, love and wisdom of Christ and being encouraged to put Him on the throne of their lives.
We had an amazing week in Idaho in late June with over 450 campers and dozens of coaches and staff members and speakers on top of that. Click here to read more.

Here is some key information about the responses and decisions that young folks made at our FCA camp this past summer:
1. There were a total of 450 kids at camp.
2. Of those kids, 44 indicated that they accepted Christ as their Lord and Savior while at camp.
3. Of the rest, 194 kids indicated that they made some kind of a decision at camp to dedicate themselves to living for the Lord.
In five states (OR, WA, ID, MT, AK) we FCA staff people are doing our best to follow up with these kids and to encourage them to keep on faithfully following Christ. Please join us in praying that we would be able to do so effectively. Thanks much!
Any more questions about why we put so much time and expense into putting on a world-class FCA sports camp every summer? :-)
The Field of Faith outreach event that we held in October on the Mountain View High School football field went real well. There was a good crowd of young people there. Eight area high school students shared something of what the Lord is teaching them from His Word and how He is changing their lives. Several of the testimonies were very powerful and involved a pregnancy and death and hardship and the Lord being totally faithful to show His love and grace in the midst of it all. An area youth Pastor shared the gospel very clearly and gave the opportunity for young people to accept Christ into their lives had they come to the event as non-Christians. At the end of the evening 50 copies of the Gospel of John were handed out, indicating that that many young people accepted the challenge to read a chapter of the Word of God every day for the next 21 days and to see what the Lord will do in their lives though doing so. Perhaps the best part of the evening for me personally was seeing students boldly speaking about Christ and His Word to their peers. That alone was worth the price of admission (free, of course) to an outdoor outreach event on a chilly October evening. Thanks for praying for the Lord to do great things through the Field of Faith! Our prayers were answered!
