What is Fields of Faith?

Fields of Faith is a student led event.  Students invite, pray for, share with, and challenge their peers to read the Bible and follow Jesus Christ.  An athletic field provides a neutral, rally point where a community can come together.

Why Fields of Faith?

To Help Change Our Culture.

It’s time to spark a spiritual movement for God. Christianity needs a change in momentum—students who will stand together against the pressures and temptations in our world and be a generation that is committed to reading the Bible and applying it to their lives.

It’s time to Get in the Game and Get in the Book!

Campus Ministry

Since 1966, FCA ministry has been present on campuses all across the country. The Campus Ministry called Huddles, are initiated and led by student-athletes on junior high, high school and college campuses.

The purpose of our Campus Ministry, through the various student lead huddle types, is to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ with the lost and to grow and mature followers of Jesus Christ. The “win” of Campus Ministry is to see campuses impacted for Jesus Christ through the influence of athletes and coaches.

What is a Huddle Coach?

A Huddle Coach is a coach, faculty member or volunteer who feels led to assist the student leaders in organizing and carrying out the FCA programs and activities on the campus. A Huddle Coach will fill many roles, but the most important quality in the Huddle Coach is their commitment to seeing lives of student-athletes change through Jesus Christ.

To get involved as an adult Huddle Coach, you can complete the Ministry Leader Application (MLA) at this link:

Who can participate?

While athletes and coaches are the target, FCA Campus Ministry is open to all students. The framework and materials provided focus on the common ground of athletics, But we are open to the entire student body.

New Huddle Ideas

As FCA staff we are always looking for new ways to serve and minister to coaches and athletes. We try to think outside the box and are currently looking for ideas directed towards ministering to those participating in what some might call “non traditional” school sports and activities. Things like rodeo, equestrian, skiing, skateboarding, outdoors (hunting fishing, shooting) and many more. If you have an idea for how we can serve in these or any others arenas, please contact local FCA staff. Central Oregon Multi Area Director Randy Hutchins at or Redmond Area Rep Mike Elam at
